The Future of Sports Entertainment

As one of the founders of YouCastr, I often get the question of why we decided to create YouCastr. We were dissatisfied with how traditional media companies require us to experience sports – a passive one-way experience, broadcasters who try to appeal to a broad demographic rather than desires of specific users, and covering only select events. Rather than just complaining, we applied our entrepreneurial spirit to create YouCastr – our initial vision of The Future of Sports Entertainment.

At one level, YouCastr represents the first steps on a path to what we think the future of sports entertainment could be – live, interactive, personalized and covering every imaginable sport in the world! Sporting events will be consumed at the event, at home or anywhere else through devices connected to the Internet traditionally known as phones, computers and televisions.
