Panthers Cruise To Victory

Delta- Paulding opened up to a 35-0 leading and didn’t look back as the Panthers beat the Delta Panthers 41-21 in a non-conference battle on Friday night. Paulding jumped out to a 21-0 lead on 3 TD passes from QB Haden Sholl to SE Andrew Mott. Also scoring for the Panthers was QB Haden Sholl with a 1 yard TD run and RB Mark Wolfe with a 11 yard TD run. After the game, Head Coach Chris Eztler stated “The Coaching Staff challeged our kids all week and in the locker room before tonight’s game. We told them it didn’t matter what anyone else said, we could play without those guys who were hurt, but thats not any disrespect towards them. They wanted to see the guys that were filling in for them play well and they did. We did some things well on the offensive side of the ball. This was also a big game towards playoff points. The key is take it one game at a time. Ada will be a challege and we played them tough last year.”
