Whoosh!! the sound of firecrackers flying through thr air. It was time for the 2008 olympics. As the race began with only milliseconds to determine the winner, the swimmers were off. As the people waited to see the scores on the scoreboard the shocking news had be realeased. Mr. phelps had won the gold!!!, Just by a few milliseconds. if fact he had won eight gold medals from just this 2008 olympics!! in total fourteen. By this everyone was stunned. Especially phelps coach, Bowman, who had helped Phelps grow from an 11 year old swimmer to where he was today. Michael Phelps inspires so many bright faces today, that if it weren’t for him some children wouldn’t have followed their dreames.
