YouCastr Pro provides many unique features that enable sports radio stations to build more loyal, passionate, and global communities of listeners. The features are easy to use but you will want to get familiar with them before the first broadcast.
Live Chat
Live Chat allows the station broadcaster or producer to chat with listeners, and listeners to chat with each other. Our experience indicates that this feature is wildly popular with listeners. By default, the Live Chat is enabled on the live broadcasting screen. Users must be registered in order to use the Live Chat.
We recognize that the station may need to monitor and censor the chat if users are being disruptive or are chatting inappropriately. Users who are registered as Station Administrators can issue a user a “Yellow Card” warning, which cautions the user that their chat behavior is not appropriate. If the user continues, the Station Administrator can issue a “Red Card” that blocks that user from participation in the chat for that particular show. Finally, a station can disable the entire chat functionality. All of this is done right in the live broadcasting window.
Live Polling
Live Polling allows a station broadcaster and/or producer to easily poll online listeners. Results are updated immediately.1. Click on the “Create new Poll” button on the right of the Live Broadcasting pageThat’s it! The Live Poll is available for users to vote on, and is updated in real time.
2. Type in the question and the possible answers. To add additional answers, just click the plus icon.
3. Click on “Poll Listeners”Archiving and Podcasts
