The Muhlenberg Ice Hockey team is now dominating, and on a six game winning streak that included three conference games.
After starting the season 0-5-1, they are now above .500 with a respectable 6-5-1 overall record and an undefeated 3-0 record in the Great Northeastern Collegiate Hockey Conference. They join CW Post and the University of Scranton as the only undefeated teams in the GNCHC. CW Post is 5-0, while Scranton is 7-0.

The Johns Hopkins Blue Jays have been the best Centennial Conference girls’ soccer team for the past three years. They are three time defending champions, and have advanced to the finals for the past four years.
Well, now it is five.
They defeated our beloved Muhlenberg Lady Mules as Erica Suter headed in a corner kick just over two minutes in to the second overtime at Johns Hopkins University. Michele Toher stopped six of seven Johns Hopkins shots, while Karen Guszkowski stopped all three shots on goal that she faced for the Blue Jays.

Tension was in the air. The Muhlenberg girls were nervous, scared, unsure of what was going to happen, and most of all, unconfident.
Oh, wait, wrong bench.
The Muhlenberg Lady Mules actually looked ready to go, as they were able to defeat Haverford College 2-1 in the Centennial Conference qualifying playoff round.

The Muhlenberg Mules, after starting the season a dismal 0-5-1, are now on a hot streak, with three straight wins. After underperforming in their first six games, the Mules finally seem to be playing to their full potential.
They defeated LaSalle University Friday night, a conference rival, with a 5-2 score. Sophomore defenseman Will Behrns scored a hat trick, and helped lift his team to victory and a 2-0 record in the GNCHC. Also scoring for the Mules were Geoff Kelleman and Cody Barker.

After starting their non-conference part of the season with a 0-5-1 record, the Muhlenberg Mules finally put their first win of the season on the board, and it could not have come at a better time.
The “real” season, the Mules’ GNCHC Conference games, started last night, as they played the struggling Franklin and Marshall Diplomats. This game was no contest, as the Mules dominated from the opening puck drop, blowing out the Diplomats 8-1.
