There were no real surprises last night in the Rusty LaRue Summer Pro-Am League, as the regular season wrapped up. For those of you who may not know, this is a summer league the all of the men’s players play in along with other local college and professional talent. Throughout the day, Wake Forest fans and students paid their respects to the late coach Skip Prosser as only they could. Rolls of toilet paper hung from the trees of Hearn Plaza all day as people came and went and celebrated the life of their beloved coach and friend just like they would celebrate a decisive sports victory. Skip was known for sending an e-mail to the student body before big games that would say “Meet me on the quad at midnight,” promising a big win and a bigger celebration after.
