Mike, just to follow up, I spoke with the guys at 890 and it sounds like they will be putting it back up soon. They needed to get someone in place to monitor the chat each day. Hopefully this won't usually be necessary but they want to play it safe for now. In the mean time, hope you enjoy the site!

Hey Mike, they actually do know about the new features. Unfortunately they are still concerned (not sure why) about preserving the image of station and the possibility of the "troll" coming back. I strongly encourage you to write them an email letting them know that you want the chat back.

Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

Mike, Just finished updating the site with the chat moderation functionality. Hopefully the guys at 890 will try it out tomorrow. Let me know if you experience any problems with it.

Hey Mike, was that my fault (thom) that the chat got shut down? I'm just meaning to be playful but I don't want to do anything that shuts down the chat.

Thanks for your comment Mike - we've asked Youcastr to include the chat transcript with the archived show audio, and they indicate that can happen pretty soon, so it's coming...
