I do not know where to go with this, but I am not feeling RAW right now and I cannot pinpoint the reasons as of now. About a month ago I wrote after watching Raw that they may have just turned the corner and things were looking up at least from my perspective. Now as quick as I wrote that, I feel that they fell from my point of view that they may have turned the corner. It seems like you turn on Raw at 9pm and then watch it for two hours waiting for it to happen. What is “it” is what I cannot figure out, what is “itR...

In Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, we just do not throw out respect to anyone or anything. Respect needs to be earned in this city. Everyone comes with a background and past successes and failures, but that carries no weight here in Philadelphia. Philly is a city of what have you done for me lately and wants one present success.
Five years ago, October baseball was an uncommon term in Philadelphia. Our teams usually ran out the season oh maybe end of August and the last remaining games really meant nothing. Yea we may have ...

The longest tenured baseball player is by far a very unique title these days, because it just usually does not happen anymore in the big leagues. I was sitting here watching the Phillies celebrate thin over the
brew crew on Sunday afternoon and I have to admit it was nice to see some of these Philly players celebrate a very nice accomplishment for the team and the city. If you look at this team their are some real “nice” guys on this team. Guys that seem like they push for each other and guys that seem rahrah for the entire t...

Okay Mick so you sat out for a month time to adhere to your non compete clause with the wwe. Basically so you would avoid legal battles and keep yourself possibly in the good graces of wwe down the road. You cannot tell me that one day you invision yourself at Wrestlemania 35 being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. All this stuff is really a moot point right now because Mick you did the unthinkable in Vinnie Mac’s eyes and that is to go and work for the competition. Now it is nothing compared to WWE/WCW battle days because back t...

City of Philadelhia and just how much are we starving for a champion? Yes we have been through it all, the famous collapse of 64, the crushing loses we had in some nlcs games with the Dodgers and Stros in the eighties, and of course when Good OLe Fregosi came out in 93 and put WILD THING in for Mason onthat disappointing October Saturday night. Is this year gonna be another chapter for our storied past of loses or is it gonna start maybe a new book of champs for Philadelphia. We all sit here on Friday evening pondering all those questions...

Let me preface this article by first saying that I am in utter amazement that I sm even reviewing an ECW event. I really was never a big fan of Ecw and especially when it was being held in the bingo hall. I mean it was good for a different product, but I really never bought into the program. When I turned on ECW Tuesday and I was watching the intros I was thinking just how far ECW has came from a bingo hall to mainstream WWE programming. Even ECW intro and music is becoming fresh new and catchy. Yes the next statement I make will shock ...

What to expect tonight after WWE has just experienced the worse ratings last week since before the attitude era. Was Vinnie Mac gonna get healthy and show his face or was something unexpected gonna take place. Usually WWE fights back and is not easily beat down after a bad review or rating experience. I mean they do own the longest running series show on Cable TV and I think even regular television, so WWE can still hold their head high, but you know Vinnie Mac usually fights back somehow someway.
So I turn it on and it opens with a la...

September baseball has three ways to look at it and of course it depends on what type of season each team has had for that year. If your the lowly Pittsburg Pirates or the Texas Rangers your just laying out the string. Dreaming of golfing and/or laying on the beach somewheres on the islands. Then you have the teams that are still fighting for post season. This year we have about seven teams still jockeying for postition as it aplies to the postseason. These teams are hoping to play the lowly Pirates and/or Rangers. There always trying t...

There are so many different opinions of wrestling leagues and companies. Fans have different opinions of wrestlers, their styles, and do they really belong in the ring. Mainstream media has always had opinions, be them usually negative, on the overall product. Probably the biggest time when opinions of different leagues came to a boiling point was when WWE and WCW had the Monday Night Wars. Can wrestling fans today envision another type war like that between WWE and TNA??? I know Jeff Jarrett and Dixie Carter have hope that a war like t...

I have watched the WWE since the WWf days and all the way back to when Vinnie Mac was just a young announcer and began to take the wrestling world by storm. Why I tell you all that is then you know I have seen all the different eras and movements WWF went through to get to the WWE!!! I saw the old school wrestlers and went to see them monthly at the Philadelphia Spectrum way back in the early 80’s. That era held many different types of wrestlers. They still featured the muscle heads…Ivan Polish Power Putski to the Olympic Str...
