Ken Griffey, Jr’s departure to the Chicago White Sox is obviously an attempt by the Reds to work on their team’s future. He was in his 9th year with us and we have no .500 seasons to show for it. I was hoping that Dusty Baker would have realized his skills were declining sooner and would have moved him to the 6th or 7th slot in the order.
