The Chicago Blackhawks are on their annual circus trip that comes around this time of year. They are looking forward to games against opponents that are very stellar in strength.
The Hawks in the past seasons have not faired very well in this trips going only 2 and 4 last year. This trip usually makes or gives us a look into how the season will go and just like the circus it will leave town with no site in the end.

DeAngelo Hall’s short stint with the Oakland Radiers came to an end early Wednesday.
Eight months after the Radiers traded for the Pro bowler cornerback and signed him to a 70 million dollar contract was waived.
The acquistion of Hall from Atlanta in March was a big part of the Radiers plans to rebuild a struggling defense. But Hall has not played up to is 70 million contract. In return the Radiers had to give up a second round pick in the draft. Hall signed a contract with the Raiders for seven years.

Finally, Game 5 of the World Series was played on Wednesday after a 1!/2 days of a rain delay. The Philadelphia Philles are the World Champs!!!
The Tampa Bay Rays now understand what Boston felt ike when Tampa was up 3-1 in the ALCS. However, the Rays could not pull of the games that they needed to tie the World Series like the Boston Red Sox accomplished. Well finally the ALCS has been decided and the outcome is not what Red Sox fans wanted. It started out that way though for the Sox as they forced a game 7 at Tampa.
The Red Sox tried to take their decesive 9-0 record when facing elmination to a perfect 10, but the Rays had other plans. The Rays did what got them to the playoffs, finally getting some defense while scoring just enough runs to win the game. What a difference 24 can make.
