NASHVILLE, Tenn. —The Tennessee Titans keep winning, and not even Peyton Manning could stop the NFL’s only undefeated team.
LenDale White ran for two touchdowns, Chris Hope intercepted Manning twice and the Titans routed the Indianapolis Colts 31-21 Monday night.
The Titans (7-0) have won an NFL-best 10 straight regular-season games, matching the second-best streak in franchise history. More importantly, Tennessee grabbed control of the AFC South away from the team that has dominated this division in winning the past five t...

The University of Alabama’s football game at Tennessee on Saturday night was like watching a python snake at feeding time.
Alabama struck, and then slowly sucked the life out of the Volunteers, who despite being in their own den suffered a demoralizing 29-9 loss.
Whether you were one of the thousands of Crimson Tide fans on hand at Neyland Stadium, or watched the game from home, here are 10 things you may not have noticed:
1. Wilson was really,

TUSCALOOSA | An MRI test confirmed that University of Alabama junior nose guard Terrence Cody only sustained a knee sprain Saturday against Ole Miss.
The junior starter is expected to miss two weeks, and then, according to Coach Nick Saban, will be re-evaluated. That could possibly result in his return for the game at LSU on Nov. 8.
The injury is similar to what junior left tackle Andre Smith sustained earlier this season. He missed one game.

Phillip Fulmer likes the fact that his Tennessee Volunteers are coming off a victory going into this Saturday’s game against No. 2 Alabama, but the head coach of the Vols would rather be playing someone else.
Tennessee defeated Mississippi State 34-3 on Saturday to improve to 3-4 overall and notch its first Southeastern Conference win in four tries this season. Fulmer said the Vols are headed in the right direction after the worst six-game start in his tenure, but seeing the highly-ranked Crimson Tide in Neyland Stadium this weekend would...

TUSCALOOSA | It was no surprise to many Crimson Tide fans that the University of Alabama emerged as the No. 2 team in the first Bowl Championship Series poll of the 2008 college football season.
Still, many remained cautiously optimistic the team would be able to hold on to that spot, its highest ever since the BCS began in 1998, and compete for its first national championship in 16 years.
Many — but not all.
“We’re ready for it,” said Jasper resident and UA alumnus Holly Blanton, 28. “We’ve waited for so long.”

There was nothing little about Big Brown’s racing career.
From his overpowering victories in the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness to his spectacular flop in the Belmont as he bid for a Triple Crown, Big Brown and his entourage - including his maverick owner and outspoken trainer - simply didn’t do subtle.
Yet less than two weeks away from his final race, the brilliant champion with brittle feet ended his career not with a victory in the Breeders’ Cup Classic at Santa Anita but in front of a few stunned onlookers at Aq...
