I don’t know who just yet but someone owes me an apology for bagging on the ‘Dores for so long. After all these years of undeniable suck we have risen to the brink of a record breaking season. One more win ends the one of the longest bowl droughts in history and a big time win over either Georgia or Florida (preferably both) could punch a ticket to the SEC title game for Vanderbilt. All that said I would ike to also point out that this team isn’t winning with smoke and mirrors or based on luck, anyone who has seen them play...

This is article is set up to draw your attention to a growing problem in Tennessee. For years the Tennessee Vols have been a dominant force in the SEC and nationally, however, thanks to a fat man in a little orange sweater vest, this team has slipped in to mediocrity. As a Vanderbilt fan I feel obligated to help out Vols fans during their time of need so I am posting this link to a petition to fire Phil Fulmer. Please remember this is a desperate situation Phil must be stopped, besides I hear Syracuse is going to be in need of a new mascot a...

On a weekend when Tom Brady was injured, Peyton Manning looked less than stellar, and Vince Young threw a tantrum, Jay Cutler put on a show in Oakland. This felt like a coming out party for a player that many feel could be the next Elway. Granted the Raiders aren’t the best of defenses but they are and NFL team so take it as you will. The point is Cutler just uncorked on the secondary and along with Eddie Royal piled up the yardage. By the end of the game Cutler looked like he could reuse his jersey next Sunday. His O-line held back th...

Today’s Titans game didn’t give fans much to cheer about. The defense was stellar (what else is new), Vince Young struggled to complete a pass, and (newsflash) Kerry Collins didn’t. After Vince was hobbled with a knee injury late in the game, Kerry came in and led a scoring drive that put the game out of reach for Jacksonville. While he was limited to 2 passes, Collins was 2 for 2, for 65 yards. That’s half the yards Young accumulated for the whole game. This all leads to a question tht many Titans fans have been aski...

Last night I had the pleasure of watching the Vanderbilt – South Carolina game first hand and I must say, I think this game leaves both teams with more questions than answers. South Carolina came in off a 34-0 win over NC State. However in that game they turned the ball over four times only to come back against Vanderbilt and coush it up three times (1 Fumble, 2 Interceptions.) So for coach Spurrier the question is, who can manage this team? Chris Smelley appeared to be the answer and a good showing in the second half versuses NC State...

Not many people can say they saw Chris Johnson turning into a fantasy wonder however if his first taste of NFL action was any indication this guy is one to add now while he is cheap. Granted this was just a preseason game but Johnson carried the ball a mere six times for a total of 77 yards (12.8 yards/carry.) Thats an impressive total for limited carries but the most telling play was a 66 yard touchdown run that displayed why Johnson could be a huge boost to an fantasy league. Jeff Fisher (head coach of the Tennessee Titans) has indicated t...
