On a freezing cold Saturday night at Rio Tinto Stadium, Real Salt Lake was defeated by the New York Red Bulls 1-0. Real had more than its fair share of chances, with two shots that had the keeper beat bouncing off the posts, and a few just going high or wide. While New York was dominated through out the game by Real, they put one away. It was one of the only breakaways for New York, and they capitalized. New York will play Columbus next Sunday for the MLS Cup in Carson, California.
